Stan VanDerBeek Estate in conversation with Gloria Sutton and Lauren Cornell
Art Historian Gloria Sutton, New Museum curator Lauren Cornell, and the Estate of Stan VanDerBeek, upheld by Sara and Johannes VanDerBeek and Chelsea Spengemann, will discuss VanDerBeek's work within the context of his current exhibition at Gallery 2, exploring such topics as the role of interpretation within the Poemfields, spatial and installation issues, and triangulating the dichotomous relationship between the commercial art world and the academic one.
